DESCRIPTION: Grant Avenue Condominiums is a proposed renovation of an 11,000 SF mixed-use building located at Grant Avenue between Post and Sutter Street in the Union Square retail district of San Francisco. The project features 5 condominium suites above ground-floor retail space. The existing six-story building is an un-reinforced masonry structural and will receive a full structural shell and core retrofit, a new façade and entry canopies in addition to full interior renovation. Brand + Allen Architects is responsible for creating the unique planning concept and modern building design based on owner development criteria and site restrictions. We have completed a preliminary round of meetings with the City of San Francisco Planning Department regarding massing and zoning restrictions.
