DESCRIPTION: The 5800 Third Street Condominiums project is a 495,000 SF high-density market rate residential development in San Francisco, California. The four-building project consists of 341 units of market rate condominiums, podium level residential parking, and 14,000 SF of retail. Brand + Allen Architects is the architect of record responsible for the development of construction documents and construction contract administration. CJA is the design architect. The construction of the proposed building is Type-III; the structure is a reinforced shear wall system on a Type-I concrete podium. The exterior of the building consists of a window wall system with a combination of insulated glass, stucco, and cement board cladding systems. The project was completed in June 2010.
