DESCRIPTION: Vintage Park is an 82 acre lifestyle center development, located at the junction of highway 249 and Louetta, northwest of Houston, Texas. The development includes 400,000 SF of retail, restaurants, and office spaces, a 125,000 SF grocery store, and a 55,000 SF movie theater in addition to 4,500 parking stalls. The lifestyle complex is designed as an assemblage of buildings arranged around inviting, landscaped outdoor plazas lined with retail spaces and shaded by the canopies of trees. The massing of the project is modulated to enhance scale and rhythm, and the design is richly textured with durable indigenous materials and an earthy color palate. Careful attention is paid to the planning of circulation and symbiotic relationship of difference programmatic elements in order to ensure the success of the development.
